Insurgence: Second Assault (2020) Review

Aside from some small grammatical errors, Insurgence: Second Assault is a very well polished RPG Maker title that avoids many of the engine-related flaws. The balance between JRPG and VN is nice. 6/10

Adore (2020) Review

EA: Adore is a top-down monster taming & real time combat game where you can summon your captured creatures for one attack at a time. It’s difficult, but could be interesting once it releases. 6/10

Bullet Girls Phantasia (2020) Review

Bullet Girls Phantasia is a mission-based shooter with an anime style. Taking damage results in that character losing clothing. The gameplay is interesting, and I plan to do a full playthrough. 7/10

Star Girls (2019) Review

Star Girls is a dating sim / space adventure where you gather resources through a bullet hell minigame. It’s a bit difficult but it’s fun. 7/10

The Cruxis Sword (2017) Review

The Cruxis Sword is an RPG Maker title with a few twists such as a crafting system. The story is nothing special, but it’s not a bad choice if you’re looking for a new RPG to play. 5.5/10

DooM in the Dark 2 (2019) Review

DooM in the Dark 2 is a poorly designed zombie shooter with a very vague storyline (if any), and the zombies don’t spawn until you’re in their spawning area, meaning you’re guaranteed to die. 3/10

Necronator: Dead Wrong (2020) Review

EA: Necronator: Dead Wrong is a reverse tower defense / card battler that’s too frustrating for me due to the reinforcement mechanic. I’ll check it again once it’s finished, but it has potential. 6/10

Fire Guild (2020) Review

Fire Guild is a casual side-scrolling game where you pilot a hot air balloon and spray an extinguisher to put out the fires below you. The controls are very easy to pick up! 6/10

Tunnel Bird (2020) Review

Tunnel Bird is a hardcore platformer inspired by Flappy Bird. It can get frustrating at times, and I think an online scoreboard would be a useful addition to add replay value. 5/10
