The TakeOver (2019) Review

The TakeOver is a fun beat’em’up, but has an agonizing number of “beat all the enemies to proceed” sections, as well as random explosives that sometimes clip through the ground and go undetected. 6/10

Ord. (2019) Review

Ord. is a really interesting take on a visual novel where you’re presented with many choices, but minimal responses. It’s very well done and I drank too much coffee my first time. 7/10

Hexadrift (2019) Review

Hexadrift is a really interesting game where you need to plan and quickly click through a route of tiles in order to collect resources, which you use to refuel or upgrade your ship. 7/10

RetroVamp (2019) Review

RetroVamp is an insane platformer where you race against the clock through a slippery course of obstacles. You only have so many respawn points though, so you have to use them wisely. 7/10

Chipmonk! (2019) Review

Chipmonk! is a chipmunk-themed beat ’em up that serves as a great introduction to the genre for new players. Infinite continues allows for progress without feeling too stressed. 7/10

Imbroglio (2019) Review

Imbroglio is a top-down 3D puzzler that might seem simple, but turns out to be a bit tricky as you figure out what order to do things. 6/10

Square Norm (2019) Review

Square Norm is a geometry-based platformer where you evolve as you add sides to your shape. It’s very well polished, and I had a lot of fun as I played it. 7/10

Vampire & Monsters (2019) Review

Vampire & Monsters is a HOG with the unique mechanic of having a scrolling, panoramic area to search in. It looks dated but is different enough to be worth playing. 6/10

Favo!+ (2019) Review

Favo!+ is a fun puzzle game where you need to connect and merge elements in order to defeat enemies or gain points. It gets tricky at times if you don’t properly plan ahead. 7/10

Tree Bonsai (2019) Review

Tree Bonsai is a relaxing simulator where you grow and shape a plum tree. My only complaint is that the white UI, on a white background, is very hard to see sometimes. 6/10
