Knightin’+ (2019) Review

Knightin’+ is an action adventure dungeon crawler where you slash enemies, collect keys and solve puzzles. Recommended for fans of the original Zelda games who want something similar! 6/10

Sole (2019) Review

Sole is an atmospheric adventure that’s short but beautiful. It reminds me of Journey, but with a more surreal take. My only complaint is that the screen framing can get annoying at times. 6/10

Veer (2019) Review

Veer is a platformer revolving around teleporting, using your relative location and colored nodes. Some additions, aside from the gameplay (such as a plot or lore) would make it more interesting. 6/10

CHAMELEON (2020) Review

CHAMELEON is a difficult yet entertaining “capture the territory” turn-based puzzle game, similar to Drench but with powerups and a multiplayer aspect. It can get frustrating but it’s still fun. 6/10

Nation Breakers: Steam Arena (2019) Review

EA: Nation Breakers: Steam Arena is a mecha arena battler that encourages you to get close while your projectiles regenerate. An upcoming update is adding customization, which should be fun. 6/10

Mini Island: Night (2020) Review

Mini Island: Night is a tricky side-view shooter where you need to carefully alternate between dodging and shooting. I love the art style, but sometimes things get difficult to see. 7/10

Middle-earth: Shadow of War (2017) Review

Middle-earth: Shadow of War is an action-packed RPG that seems to encourage stealth but also make it difficult to use. The cinematics are done very well, but the gameplay could be better. 7/10

Legion 51 (2019) Review

Legion 51 is a fairly short/simple reverse tower defense that was more fun than I expected. If you can pick it up on sale, give it a try! 6/10

Talisman: Origins (2019) Review

Talisman: Origins is a frustratingly difficult board game where you life depends on the dice you roll and the cards you draw. It’s not my type of game but I can see the appeal for tabletop fans. 6/10
