Exile Squadron (2019) Review

Exile Squadron is a horizontal shooter where you need to dodge bullets and destroy enemies/asteroids to proceed. The background can be confusing, since it was hard to tell what would hurt me. 6/10

The Lighthouse (2019) Review

EA: The Lighthouse is a 3D horror game that presents itself from an outsider’s perspective – like a TV show. It’s something I really appreciate since it allows for more focus on narrative. 7/10

Bewitched (2019) Review

Bewitched is an OELVN about a boy who returns to his childhood home only to discover that he wasn’t imagining magic as a kid. The world-building is done well and got my attention. 6/10

The Sphere of Abyss (2019) Review

EA: The Sphere of Abyss is a top-down adventure RPG that’s a bit confusing at first but fun once you get the hang of it. I managed to defeat the first double-axe boss on my first try. 6/10

Astronarch (2020) Review

EA: Astronarch is a randomized RPG that requires little interaction on the player’s part but offers enough intrigue to keep you interested. Status effects are king in this game. 6/10

TheoTown (2019) Review

TheoTown is the most complex city builder I’ve ever played, yet it does a great job at making sure that you can focus on the gameplay and maintenence instead of getting bogged down in details. 7/10

Shine’s Adventures 6 (2019) Review

Shine’s Adventures 6 is a rafting bumper kart game where winning will unlock rotatable 3D CG. The gameplay is actually pretty fun, as you place mines to try and knock other players off. 6/10

Insurgence: Second Assault (2020) Review

Aside from some small grammatical errors, Insurgence: Second Assault is a very well polished RPG Maker title that avoids many of the engine-related flaws. The balance between JRPG and VN is nice. 6/10

Adore (2020) Review

EA: Adore is a top-down monster taming & real time combat game where you can summon your captured creatures for one attack at a time. It’s difficult, but could be interesting once it releases. 6/10

Bullet Girls Phantasia (2020) Review

Bullet Girls Phantasia is a mission-based shooter with an anime style. Taking damage results in that character losing clothing. The gameplay is interesting, and I plan to do a full playthrough. 7/10
