Cards & Crystals (2020) Review

Cards & Crystals is a card game with a focus on a match-three puzzle in order to deal damage and use your cards. It’s quite fun to play once you start to optimize your deck! 7/10

Arena (2020) Review

Arena is a hand-painted battler with a “no seriousness intended” aesthetic, which is especially fun with the voiceovers. For a free to play game, I strongly recommend at least giving it a try. 6.5/10

Tower of Shades (2020) Review

Tower of Shades is a motivational speech in the form of a very short repeating RPG battle segment. It feels more like a demo for a full game than an actual game, but it’s fine for what it is. 6/10

Every Day’s Different (2020) Review

EA: Every Day’s Different is a romance OELVN with voice acting in a school setting. It’s hard to evaluate with only one episode released so far, but it has potential. 6/10

Elementallis (2020) Review

Elementallis is a Zelda-like dungeon crawler, where defeating a boss unlocks a new magic/element to use. It’s rather simple based off the demo I played, but it should appeal to Zelda fans. 6/10

StretchBot (2020) Review

StretchBot is a 2D platformer with a swinging mechanic that is otherwise based off classic platformers from the 90s. It’s fun, but the controls can feel awkward at times, especially on keyboard. 6/10

Queens Garden: Sakura Season (2020) Review

Queens Garden: Sakura Season is a rather simple match-three game with some interspersed minigames and a garden builder. It’s the type of casual fun that helps you unwind at the end of a day. 6/10

Typing of the Undead (2019) Review

EA: Typing of the Undead is a fast-paced typing survival game where you need to type words or sentences as fast as you can before the zombies reach you. It’s simple but well done. 6/10

Widget Satchel (2019) Review

Widget Satchel is a 2D platformer where your score (widgets) weighs you down and makes it harder to proceed. It’s a unique concept and it makes the game require some thinking. 6/10

Lumote (2020) Review

Lumote is a beautiful 3D puzzle platformer where you need to give life to various plants in order to proceed. It’s on the casual side of things, but the controls feel great and it’s fun to play. 7/10
