Heroic Mercenaries (2019) Review

Heroic Mercenaries is a cheap-feeling top-down action game where you assemble a party and take on random quests. Honestly, it feels like someone’s first Flash game. 4/10

Where Are We Now (2019) Review

Where Are We Now is a rather clunky adventure game about a bunch of floating islands – and a journey of self-discovery. The UI elements, especially message boxes, often feel unresponsive. 4/10

Eormor: Shattered Lands (2019) Review

Eormor: Shattered Lands is a turn-based strategy with a casualness to it that matches the art style. The shallowness doesn’t make it appeal to me, but other people might like it better. 4/10

Kubble Star (2020) Review

Kubble Star is a very difficult 3D puzzle game that plays like a mix between a bubble shooter and a match-3. Your success, and by extension, frustration, depends entirely on the RNG. 3/10

DriftKing 2D (2019) Review

EA: DriftKing 2D is a mobile port of a cheap racing game. Visual glitches are everywhere, including all of the text disappearing from the main menu, or your car vanishing on the track. 3/10

The Volcano (2019) Review

The Volcano is a 2D platformer where you can switch between Fire/Ice and Light/Shadow. The gameplay is tedious, and lacks sound effects. It mostly involves running right while avoiding bullets. 4/10

141 (2019) Review

EA: 141 is a FPS where you try to collect a key and bring it back to your base before the enemy does. It’s simple, but the bot AI isn’t the best so it’s only good with other players. 4/10

AreaZ (2019) Review

EA: AreaZ is an island survival game that is currently very minimal. I got through the tutorial until I needed to find fresh water, at which point I could not. More directions would help. 4/10

Escape from the Lostmoon (2019) Review

Escape from the Lostmoon is a rather buggy and confusing platformer. The main character easily gets stuck in objects or the floor, and everything looks poorly drawn. 2/10
