Banana Invaders (2019) Review
Banana Invaders is a rather static VR shooter, where you teleport from platform to platform and shoot any incoming bananas. It’s pretty polished, but not very entertaining. 4/10

Tonetaker VR is a cheap-looking VR game where orbs inflate and need to be popped with a sword, while one of twenty tracks plays in the background and controls the growth of the orbs. 3/10
Discontinue is a VR game that I really like the aesthetic of, but the gameplay quickly grows repetitive and becomes less and less fun. I can see why there’s over a thousand generated levels… 4/10
Third Eye is the type of game that looks very promising in screenshots, but turns out to be a letdown. Janky animations, the world’s tiniest hitboxes, and AI that struggles to even finish a move. 3/10
Terminal Squad: Sentinel is an odd combination of guard-the-target and match-3 puzzle games. It’s worth paying attention to as it develops, but right now it’s not the best experience. 4/10
ChatAid is a collection of two short stories, interacted with through a GUI that mimics a chat room. There’s not a lot going on here, and both stories fail to explain much of what is going on. 4/10
Spheroid is a glitchy FPS with mecha. My ally kept clipping through walls, sometimes I would only see wireframes, and the game took a page from The Invisible War and restarts after every level. 2/10
aMAZE Untouchable is the hardest aMAZE game I’ve played yet, since bumping into a wall means you have to restart. It’s still the same basic grab-key-and-reach-exit gameplay though… 3/10
Bloop Reloaded feels like it could have been a fun liquid physics game, but clunky controls and a few major bugs are enough to make the game annoying to play. 4/10
Police Patrol is a “game” where you need to pin down a criminal’s car with your car. You can finish all the levels in two minutes. Into the Hall of Shame it goes. 1/10
