Spider Derby (2019) Review

Spider Derby is a game where you capture, train, and battle with spiders in order to conquer territory. It’s a bit rough, but it’s interesting and just needs a bit of polish. 6/10

Frontline Zed (2019) Review

Frontline Zed is probably the first zombie game I’ve enjoyed, although it quickly grows repetitive. I think I ran into some bad luck with finding guns, which made it more difficult. 5/10

Radio Commander (2019) Review

Radio Commander is a unique strategy game where you remotely monitor and control your units by issuing radio commands. It’s definitely more interesting than the usual move-and-shoot. 7/10

CrunchTime (2019) Review

CrunchTime is a 2D platformer where all of the enemies and objects are made out of ASCII art. It’s rather simple, but I like the aesthetics. 6/10

Dune Sea (2019) Review

Dune Sea is a post-apocalyptic side-scroller where you play as a goose, flying across vast planes of desert. The graphics are nice, and the game gets more interesting as you progress. 6/10

Planet Automata (2019) Review

Planet Automata is a fiendishly difficult bullet hell with a soundtrack that keeps on giving. I had some fun with a glitch that made me invincible, but I only recommend it for bullet hell fans. 6/10

PANDARA (2019) Review

PANDARA is a monochrome bullet hell where you play as a panda. The soundtrack is amazing, and the gameplay keeps you on your toes with each new enemy. 7/10

Super Cucho (2019) Review

Super Cucho is a bizarre 2D platformer that feels like I dug it up from an obscure Flash game archive. I really don’t know how to rate it. ?/10

Princess and Knight (2019) Review

Princess and Knight is a turn-based strategy like the Fire Emblem games, but more complicated due to skills, stances and other additions. The automatically-controlled allies are interesting. 5/10

Mental House (2019) Review

Mental House is a horror game that’s unintentionally like older horror movies – more comedic due to poor effects than anything actually scary. 4/10
