The TakeOver (2019) Review
The TakeOver is a fun beat’em’up, but has an agonizing number of “beat all the enemies to proceed” sections, as well as random explosives that sometimes clip through the ground and go undetected. 6/10

EA: Tank Nova is a weird tank vs. bugs game with no direction and unexplained controls. If you have more than one monitor, the game is hard to play since your mouse will keep leaving the window. 4/10
Ord. is a really interesting take on a visual novel where you’re presented with many choices, but minimal responses. It’s very well done and I drank too much coffee my first time. 7/10
Pencil vs. Eraser is a simple arena shooter where the enemies get more transparent as they are “erased” by your shots. It’s interesting visually, but difficult. 5.5/10
EA: Mulite Sword Man is an action RPG that still needs a lot of work. You can’t move with the controller, but you can’t get past tutorial dialogues with the keyboard. The English isn’t great. 5/10
In TV189, you wander through a barren, foggy city in search of groups of soldiers that are protecting a key. The gameplay is rough at best, and I’ve seen other games use the same template. 3/10
EA: Zombie Road Rider is a very rough game where you drive through zombies to rescue people and drop them off at shelters. There are typos in the controls, and my car got stuck in a circle loop. 3/10
EA: EasyPianoGame is a MIDI-based game, where you need to press up to eight keys on your keyboard in time with the notes. It’s basically a MIDI player with a button tapping game overlaid. 4/10
Hexadrift is a really interesting game where you need to plan and quickly click through a route of tiles in order to collect resources, which you use to refuel or upgrade your ship. 7/10
Note: I played non-VR. Tunnel VR is a game where you need to change direction in order to travel through tunnels without colliding. There’s a few minor bugs but overall it’s solid casual game. 5/10
