Toy Robot (2019) Review
Toy Robot is a platformer where the score pickups also increase your charge/timer. It’s simple, free, and runs well on Linux – so give it a shot if you’re looking for a new platformer to play. 6/10

Centralia: Homecoming is a laggy horror game with a voiced introduction that hurts my ears. The AI can see you through walls, and the gameplay is rather poorly done. 4/10
Remember, Lights Out is a mobile port of a platformer where you lose vision as you progress. I was having fun until level 5, at which point your success is partially memory and partially luck. 4/10
Now I Am There is an okay platformer with a buggy teleportation mechanic. Sometimes you’ll get stuck, sometimes you’ll die when you teleport, and sometimes it won’t teleport you where you wanted. 4/10
Xentripetal Force is a competitive four-player Pong-like game where the ball picks up speed and causes damage if you miss it. It’s alright but there’s nothing special about it. 5/10
CHOP is a brutally fast-based arena battler, and if you play with other people, it’s a ton of fun. You can get to the point where winners are determined by predicting your opponents next move. 6/10
WAR GHOST is some type of cheap strategy game, complete with a convoluted UI and distorted sound effects that play for no reason. Calling it Early Access would be generous, but it’s not. 2/10
Driven Out is a side-scrolling action game revolving around parrying enemy attacks, and counter attacking in between their attacks. It’s difficult but engaging. 6/10
Arsenal Demon is a difficult randomized arena shooter that’s fun but frustrating. There were times where I would die and have absolutely no idea why, since I was sure I killed everything nearby. 6/10
The Legend of Arcadieu is a pseudo-RPG visual novel that can be easily completed in under 30 minutes. The story doesn’t leave much room for choices, but it’s alright. 5.5/10
