Nyanco Space (2020) Review

Nyanco Space is a tricky top-down arcade game about collecting tokens and dodging enemies. It’s simple but fun. Some of the art is made from upscaled JPEGs, which detracts from the quality. 6/10

MY HERO ONE’S JUSTICE 2 (2020) Review

MY HERO ONE’S JUSTICE 2 is a balanced anime fighter with a variety of characters and mechanics. At times it might feel overwhelming, but you’ll get the hang of it with practice. 7/10

Hidden Through Time (2020) Review

Hidden Through Time is a casual hidden object game with a cheerful art style and a (loosely) historical theme. It’s satisfying to find that one tiny object that was bugging you the whole time. 7/10

Kubble Star (2020) Review

Kubble Star is a very difficult 3D puzzle game that plays like a mix between a bubble shooter and a match-3. Your success, and by extension, frustration, depends entirely on the RNG. 3/10

DriftKing 2D (2019) Review

EA: DriftKing 2D is a mobile port of a cheap racing game. Visual glitches are everywhere, including all of the text disappearing from the main menu, or your car vanishing on the track. 3/10

Tower of Heresy (2020) Review

Tower Of Heresy is an RPG Maker title with a surprising amount of depth. The poor resolution and graphics are downsides, but the real-time combat and strategic elements make it worth playing. 6/10

Metal Unit (2020) Review

EA: Metal Unit is a 2D mecha platformer with a variety of weapons and enemies. Sometimes it can get chaotic, but that’s just part of the fun. I’ll be doing a full playthrough after it’s released. 7/10

Anime Artist 2: Lovely Danya (2020) Review

Anime Artist 2: Lovely Danya is a mix of connect the dots and outline colouring that suffers from requiring a lot of guesswork and very slow mouse movement. It’s alright, but it could be better. 5/10

STURMWIND EX (2019) Review

STURMWIND EX is a side-scrolling shoot ’em up that’s fun to play and has very detailed art. A short tutorial or page explaining what the different power-ups/mines are would be very useful. 7/10

The Volcano (2019) Review

The Volcano is a 2D platformer where you can switch between Fire/Ice and Light/Shadow. The gameplay is tedious, and lacks sound effects. It mostly involves running right while avoiding bullets. 4/10
