Heroic Mercenaries (2019) Review

Heroic Mercenaries is a cheap-feeling top-down action game where you assemble a party and take on random quests. Honestly, it feels like someone’s first Flash game. 4/10

Where Are We Now (2019) Review

Where Are We Now is a rather clunky adventure game about a bunch of floating islands – and a journey of self-discovery. The UI elements, especially message boxes, often feel unresponsive. 4/10

Eormor: Shattered Lands (2019) Review

Eormor: Shattered Lands is a turn-based strategy with a casualness to it that matches the art style. The shallowness doesn’t make it appeal to me, but other people might like it better. 4/10

Dandy & Randy (2019) Review

Dandy & Randy is a charming top-down action adventure, reminiscent of Zelda. Your goal is to gather as much money as you can, but you’ll need to solve puzzles and defeat enemies to proceed. 6/10

Discolored (2019) Review

Discolored is a mysterious adventure through photographic manipulation. It’s very short, but it’s not for everyone. Recommended for fans of Twin Peaks. 6/10

Squillamorph (2019) Review

EA: Squillamorph is a fun platformer where you can take control of enemies and circuits (?) around you. As you do, you gain their attacks – it’s pretty unique and interesting. 7/10

Dead Spawn (2019) Review

Dead Spawn is a top-down zombie shooter with randomized buffs/demerits each round. It’s alright, but pretty slow paced. I didn’t try the co-op but it seems like it would be more fun. 5/10

10 Miles to Safety (2019) Review

EA: 10 Miles to Safety is a top-down zombie survival shooter, where you search for loot and build barricades to protect yourself at night. Gameplay is fun, but there’s a few minor glitches. 6/10

Gun Crazy (2019) Review

Gun Crazy is a difficult side-scrolling platformer/shooter that’s fun while it lasts and has some throwbacks. The second stage ie exactly like Bubble Trouble from Miniclip. 6/10
