Ciel Fledge (2020) Review

Ciel Fledge is a simulation visual novel where you raise your daughter and guide her by telling her what attributes/relationships she should focus on. It’s slow and grindy, but so is real life. 6/10

Nyanco Card (2020) Review

EA: Nyanco Card is a card game made in RPG Maker where losing not only sets you back, but also strengthens your opponent. It’s a difficult grind with little room for error, so think ahead. 6/10

Storm Chasers: Tornado Islands (2020) Review

Storm Chasers: Tornado Islands is primarily a match-3 puzzle game, although it does add in some other puzzle types. The rustic theme is well-done, so I would recommend it as a casual game. 6/10

Unblock Gridlock (2019) Review

Unblock Gridlock is a rather simplistic sliding-block puzzle game that uses common Unity assets and features (likely) pre-randomly generated levels. It’s alright, but it’s nothing special either. 5/10

Solitaire Beach Season (2016) Review

Solitaire Beach Season is a “match the cards to reveal” card game with uneven decks and a lack of support for 16:9 monitors. It’s not the worst one around, but it’s definitely not great either. 4/10

Receiver 2 (2020) Review

Receiver 2 offers a much better experience than the original, with some simplification of mechanics and many new elements (such as a plot) to add more interest. It’s not for me but I had fun. 7/10

BatMUD (1990) Review

BatMUD is, by far, one of the best MUDs I’ve played. It’s very polished for that genre, and the UI is much easier to navigate and use compared to running a telnet simulator. 7/10

Coffee Talk (2020) Review

Coffee Talk is a relaxing visual novel about managing a late-night coffee shop and listening to your customers and their interactions. I’ve never seen a game like it before, and it’s good. 7/10

The Haunted Island (2018) Review

The Haunted Island is a short adventure game with a mystery narrative about a hard-working detective frog. It’s on the casual side, but it’s an enjoyable experience. 6/10
