BadBee (2020) Review

PR: BadBee is a casual arcade game where you race through maps while collecting keys, coins and honey. It’s simple to pick up and easy to play in short bursts, making it a good to play on breaks. 6/10

Betelgeuse (2020) Review

Betelgeuse is a collection of sokoban puzzles, with levels broken up into separate themes, such as sliding/ice, objects/boulders, or movement restrictions. It’s simple but fun. 6/10

Virus Blast (2020) Review

Virus Blast is a difficult arcade-like 3D platformer, where you need to propel yourself upwards in order to gain a high score. It gives me a headache but I think other people would enjoy it. 6/10

RogueJack (2020) Review

RogueJack is a dungeon crawler where battles are determined through hands of blackjack. It’s fine in short sprints, but there’s not enough variability for longer gameplay sessions. 5/10

Pode (2020) Review

Pode is a cute two-character 3D puzzle platformer where you can use the power of earth and the power of life to get around obstacles in your path. It’s a beautiful game. 7/10

In Her Eyes (2020) Review

In Her Eyes is a visual novel / card game with interesting gameplay but a not-so-great translation. It’s understandable, but at times the dialogue becomes rather clunky. The rhythm aspect is fun. 6/10

Food Girls: Civil War (2019) Review

Food Girls: Civil War retains the same high-quality aspects as the original visual novel, but the sequel adds a dash of rivalry. A stat sim mode has been added, upping the difficulty. 7/10

Food Girls (2019) Review

Food Girls is a high-quality VN centered around saving specialized food shops, complete with animated Live2D characters and personified foods to match the shops. It’s a VN I’ll come back to! 7/10

Iwate Mountain Dance (2020) Review

Iwate Mountain Dance is a hardcore bullet hell / boss rush platformer that doesn’t hold back. Each and every move may lead you to your death, so plan carefully and dodge towards survival! 7/10
