Rhythmy (2020) Review

EA: Rhythmy is a hardcore bullet hell-like rhythm game that requires more hand-eye coordination than I have to offer. Everything is well polished and perfectly timed to the music. 6/10

LRRL or RLLR (2020) Review

LRRL or RLLR is a puzzle game that seems simple enough, but turns out to be tricky as you’ll quickly forget your position in the sequence due to the simple and repetitive steps. It’s alright. 5/10

Union (2020) Review

Union is a minimalistic puzzle game where you need to complete the paths between shapes by rotating or moving tiles. It’s simple in concept, but turns out to be quite fun in practice. 7/10

DanMachi: Infinite Combate (2020) Review

Spun off from the anime/manga of the same name, Infinite Combate offers a dungeon crawling grind with a simple/rough combat system. It’s fun for fans, but might be tough to play otherwise. 6/10

The Line (2020) Review

The Line is a tricky puzzle game with a Snake-like twist. I ran into a few small bugs that I think will be patched soon, but otherwise the game is a rather fun and unique concept. 6/10

Gogoo (2020) Review

Gogoo is a difficult and slippery platformer where each jump needs to be perfectly timed and aimed. It feels like it’s difficult mostly due to controls rather than gameplay. 4/10

Warriors of the Nile (2020) Review

Warriors of the Nile is a turn-based tile-based strategy where you control a party of three heroes and upgrade them after each battle. It’s fun and definitely something I want to come back to. 7/10

Spooky Chase (2020) Review

PR: Spooky Chase is an arcade platformer with (thankfully) short levels where you compete against your past movements. It’s difficult but interesting, and requires a lot of forethought. 6/10

Dungeon Throne (2020) Review

PR: Dungeon Throne is rather simple and could use more layout variation, but it offers a fun platforming challenge as you magic your way through procedurally generated dungeons. 7/10

Fae Tactics (2020) Review

Fae Tactics is a turn-based strategy featuring Peony and her pet bird/dog as they travel through a dangerous world. The pixel art is beautiful, and combat definitely requires some planning. 7/10
