Bad Business (2019) Review

Bad Business is a strategic shooter where every bullet counts. You need to find the right angle to shoot from, determine who to shoot first, and count your bullets carefully. 6.5/10

Nightmare Game (2019) Review

Nightmare Game is based off the idea of “death games”, something currently trending in manga. The gameplay is broken up into character arcs, which makes it artificially longer and irritating. 2/10

Pirates Are BLANKing Awesome (2019) Review

Pirates Are BLANKing Awesome is an awkward top-down shooter that involves no skill, only luck. Movement feels non-responsive, and enemies will fire 5-10 bullets before you can even see them. 4/10

Grizzland (2019) Review

Grizzland is a metroidvania with a limited resolution and a limited palette. The game features some interesting mechanics (enemies dodging???) as well as little directions but much direction. 7/10

Palmyra Orphanage (2019) Review

Palmyra Orphanage, while not the type of game I’d choose to play, is a very well done indie horror game. It has a few jump scares, but mainly relies on atmosphere and suspense – excellently done. 7/10

10,000,000 (2013) Review

10,000,000 is a tile-matching puzzle slash dungeon crawler, which is surprisingly harder than I expected. The items system is a bit odd at first, but you learn what does what as you play. 6/10

Beekyr (2014) Review

Beekyr is a shoot ’em up where you play as a bee and kill other insects with magic bullets. It’s alright, but one thing of note is the in-game advertisements. In a paid game. They appear often. 4/10

Come Back: Chapter 1 (2019) Review

Come Back: Chapter 1 is a short point and click adventure with dark undertones. The game steadily builds up to a conclusion through hidden notes and then brings things to a close. 6.5/10

Blast Zone! Tournament (2019) Review

Blast Zone! Tournament is a Bomberman-turned-gameshow arena battler, where you and the AI are more likely to blow yourselves up rather than each other. Comes with microtransactions (!) too. 4/10

Rescue Lucy 2 (2019) Review

Rescue Lucy 2 is a Flash-based attempt at a horror point and click game. There’s a very bare story and a lot of poorly designed puzzles. It feels like an indie game from 10 years ago. 3/10
